"-Fully machined the block porting the water passages near #5 and #6 cylinders. -Bore pistons and hone w/torque plate.-O-ring block and use copper head gaskets -ARP main stud kit -Arias or JE forged pistons, probably 2mm or 3mm overbore w/NA oil squirters and Swain coating of top and skirts -New Eagle rods -Polish crank -Moly rings -JWT cams if going w/JWT turbos. Or Jun cams. -new Valve springs to handle the higher lift cams -check the lifters. If in specs, re-use them -port match upper and lower plenums w/heads as well as exhaust manifolds w/heads. May want to wait for Dupree header-like manifolds (still in development). -Stainless steel valves (especially change the exhaust ones) and Swain coat them. I'd rather do all this, than a new short block. Just gotta find a shop that has experience w/VG30s." ---With regards to your ideas of the Sport 600's, I'm not positive, but I think that you need to run the JWT racing cam to properly "feed" those monstes. I'm sure that you can get away with it, but I'd check out their site and ask them what they'd recommend for running thier, after all, they will probably know more than we all will, what all they recommend to maxamise the use of thier Sport 600's.
